History
To the left is a picture of a British warship that came to Cape Cod in 1775. Its job was to guard the Boston Harbor. The HMS Somerset lll sunk November 2, 1778. The figures coming out of the sand are the timbers belonging to the HMS Somerset lll coming out of the sand in the Cape Cod National Seashore.
