Tides
The tides in Cape Cod are high tide and low tide.
In low tide there are sandbars and the water can get as low as the sand on the surface. You can find many pieces of seaglass, paintpots, moon snails, hermit crabs, shells, and horseshoe crabs.
In high tide most of the beaches are covered with water and can get as deep as seven to ten feet. Our beach near Provincetown, goes from being all beach to being covered in water during high tide.
In the picture below I'm holding a horseshoe crab that is covered in seaweed and different kinds of shells.
